First the food at Bahraini restaurant was superb. The chef makes it a point to get to know the guests, he had a way of making everyone feel special. The resort is an absolutely breathtakingly beauty. Omar who is one of the pool boys is probably one of the most hard working people there, he deserves a promotion put him in the dinning room or make him a waiter. He has a radiant personality. And this is coming from a couple who has worked in hospitality operational leadership for a decade in the Middle East. The ladies at the spa were incredible.

If you're not planning to leave the resort, this is THE place to be! The grounds are super comfortable, staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the food/drinks are good. There is a Carrefour grocery store less than 5 minutes walk away if you need any snacks for your room. So worth it, we loved the architecture, the food, lounging near the beach and pool. Their activity/animation schedule is quite full too, and the massage at the spa was lovely.

The hotel has aged gracefully and the owners have kept the same standards for over a decade. The staff are very receptive and warm . House keeping was thorough and the food and drinks were all very good . The variety of meals was also good considering it was low season . Beach beds were plenty. Check in was smooth and check out was equally smooth . Free transfers to and from Ukunda were a great addition.

the pool was nice to have, relaxing, big and with a nice pool bar serving cocktails and other drinks. breakfast was good, enough choices, we tried Zanzibar which is a restaurant that serves nice food and the atmosphere is excellent. must try! we also tried 2 times the Baharin restaurant as well nice and food was tasty. check in was ok, quick enough and gave us a very nice welcome drink.

Great Hotel. Be aware that beach is not as great as you would expect even though it has a beach. Very quiet area overall. Hotel is massive with lot of green space and pools. Service overall was very friendly and quick. 4 restaurants with a Buffett restaurant, one Indian restaurant, one tempanyaki restaurant and a grill more western food. Overall quality was good and lot of variety
